The latest episode of “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” aired on January 5, 2025, and it was filled with drama and emotional moments. The episode began with the Poddar house kids getting excited for the New Year. Manisha approached Armaan, assuring him that the new year would work in his favor. After speaking to Abhira, Manisha hoped that Armaan and Abhira’s relationship would progress in the right direction.
At the Goenka house, Abhira decided to return to Armaan. When she reached there, she noticed splotches of blood over a parked car. She put things together and deduced that Vidya was responsible for Abhir’s accident. Abhira immediately confronted Vidya about her suspicions. However, Armaan took Vidya’s side, asking Abhira to think before she spoke.
Abhira insisted on Vidya accepting her mistake, accusing Madhav of breaking her trust to protect her wife. Kaveri warned Abhira and demanded she get out of their house. However, Abhira wished to prove Vidya’s guilt. She pleaded with Vidya to reveal the truth as she deserved to know about the culprit for her brother’s accident. She further added that Vidya’s lost anklet proved that she was responsible.
After a lot of accusations, Vidya finally accepted her crime. However, she also clarified that the accident was unintentional and begged Abhira to not press charges. Manish entered the house and interrupted the conversation. He planned on filing a complaint against the culprit. But Vidya reiterated that the accident was not intentional. Manish argued that Vidya was not fond of Abhir from the get-go, so he could not trust her words. With this, Vidya fell unconscious to the ground.
Kaveri requested Manish to think about their families before taking another step. Just then, Manish received a call from Surekh informing him that Abhir had been getting out of control. Abhira and Manish returned to their home. When Ruhi began to go with them, Rohit stopped her in her tracks. Meanwhile, Swarna and Surekha were seen trying to stop Abhir from attempting to get out of his bed. Abhir, in a state of delusion, repeated that he could not live without music.
At the Poddar house, the doctor asked the family to not apply any stress on Vidya. Madhav internally thought that he had failed as a police officer and a husband. On the other hand, Abhir pleaded with the Goenkas to find the culprit behind his paralysis.
The upcoming storyline promises to be even more intriguing. Abhira and Armaan will have to navigate the consequences of Vidya’s actions.
